Advocating for increased police accountability. The lack of complete accountability has eroded community trust and fostered suspicion and resentment. In order to restore police legitimacy, there must be structures in place that promote responsible, accountable policing and measures to ensure that police and other government officials held accountable for their actions when they deviate from that standard.

Advocating for community and family

Few seem to realize that families and individuals can be deeply traumatized when a loved one is harmed either physically or mentally and the resulting questions go unanswered . This can lend to the inability to find needed closure. An independent agency review can help resolve this growing crisis.
